Bargins & Deals, PC, Lord of the Rings, MMORPG Mark Dell05 Sep 2007 05:28 am

Today only Amazon.com are selling Lord Of The Rings: Shadows Of Angmar Special Edition for the PC, for $26.99, reduced from $49.95 with free shipping.

LOTRO is a guilty pleasure of mine, it plays much like WoW but it has it’s own charm and unique features. A fan of the movies or maybe even the books would likely have a fair bit of enjoyment from this, especially if he/she only had to pay $26.99 for it.

Collectors edition is just $3 more and includes: FREE subscription(?), 128-page manual, cloth map of Middle-Earth, digital art book, exclusive figurine, exclusive in-game items: “Cloak of the Peace Keeper” +2 Peace Morale Regen.

Bargins & Deals, Jade Empire, PC Mark Dell03 Sep 2007 10:29 am

Today only Amazon.com are sellingJade Empire Special Edition for the PC for $9.99, reduced from $29.99 with free shipping if you add another $15.01 to your cart

Released nearly two full years after its Xbox counterpart, Jade Empire for the PC is a fine and rather typical Bioware Action, Role-Playing game. The game has a wonderful story but the engine feels like a slightly dumbed down arcade version of Knights of the old republic. Regardless, this is still a fantastic game that anyone interested in the main plot will get a lot of fun out of this

Bargins & Deals, PC, Command & Conquer Mark Dell01 Sep 2007 09:31 am

Today only Amazon.com are selling Command & Conquer 3:Tiberium Wars Kane Edition DVD for the PC for $39.99, reduced from $59.99 with free shipping.

A decent deal on a collectors edition of a great game. Really, you should buy this.

Bargins & Deals, Rise & Fall Mark Dell30 Aug 2007 07:09 am

Today only Amazon.com are selling Rise & Fall: Civilizations At War DVD-Rom for the PC at $3.99, reduced from $29.95 with free shipping if you add another $21.03 to your cart.

Wow, this isn’t something I’ve played before and the reviews aren’t exactly showing this as grade A material, but $4 for a year old game?

Bargins & Deals, MAC, PC, Controllers Mark Dell28 Aug 2007 06:51 am

Today only Woot.com are selling Nyko Air Flo EX USB Controller for PC/MAC – 2 Pack at $8.99, with $5 shipping.

It’s been a long while since I’ve seen Woot sell video game accessories, $14 for two rather nice looking game controllers seems like a good deal to me

Bargins & Deals, PC, Bad Day LA Mark Dell28 Aug 2007 06:44 am

Today only Amazon.com are selling Bad Day LA for the PC at $7.97, reduced from $19.99 with free shipping if you add another $17.03 to your cart. No free shipping here

A 2006 American McGee game for under 8 bucks? Sounds like a heck of a deal huh? I’ll give you a quote and a piece of advice and let you make your own decision.

PC Gamer gave it a 20, saying it was “so tasteless I needed to wash myself with lysol after playing the game”

Don’t buy this game!

Bargins & Deals, MAC, The Sims 2 Mark Dell21 Aug 2007 07:18 am

Today only Amazon.com are selling The Sims Life Stories for the Mac at $12.99, reduced from $29.99 with free shipping if you add another $12.01.

The Sims life stories is your basic Sims 2 package without any of the numerous expansion packs available, this would make the game worthless if it wasn’t for the addition of multiple story lines, much like you’d expect from a console version. Collectors of Sim games will likely get a kick out of something new, even if they are missing many of the items and additions they are used to.

Bargins & Deals, Hardware, Mouse Mark Dell12 Aug 2007 09:10 am

Today only Amazon.com are selling MonsterGecko PistolMouse FPS Console for the PC at $5.99, reduced from $9.99 with free shipping.

Don’t be fooled, this isn’t a PC light-gun, it is in-fact a PC mouse shaped like a gun. This frankly looks horrible, and I can’t imagine using it in a FPS with any great accuracy compared to a decent Logitech mouse, but I’ll reserve judgement since I’ve not tried it. Alternatively this would make a great mouse for my desk at work.
